Cypress Creek Renewables announced their plans today to establish a new solar facility in Anderson County, South Carolina and has taken the first steps to invest up to $68 million. The 50-megawatt solar facility will be capable of powering 9,100 homes each year.
Cypress Creek Renewables was founded in 2014 and owns and operates utility-scale and distributed solar and energy storage projects across the country. The company currently operates 27 solar facilities in South Carolina, producing 520 megawatts of solar capacity to the state.
