Fibertex Nonwovens, Inc., a manufacturing company that specializes in spunlace products, recently announced plans to expand operations in Laurens County, South Carolina. The more than $49.5 million investment will create 39 new jobs. Fibertex is headquartered in Denmark and operates a state-of-the-art spunlace production line in South Carolina, manufacturing products mainly for wipes. The expansion will include a second production line for rolled nonwoven products and will be completed by 2023.
