Arrival, a global company creating electric vehicles ("EVs") using its game changing technologies, announced that it will be building its second U.S. microfactory in Charlotte, North Carolina. The microfactory will produce electric delivery vans and is expected to bring more than 250 new jobs to Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. The facility will be located at Meadow Oak Commerce Center and will bring more than a $41 million investment to North Carolina.
Last fall, Arrival announced its first U.S. microfactory in Rock Hill, South Carolina. In December, the company also announced that it would establish its North American headquarters in Charlotte. In total, the company will create more than 650 jobs in the Charlotte region.
