Parker Poe Consulting is helping Specified Fittings LLC open a new facility to produce high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe fittings at the Southern Carolina Industrial Campus in Early Branch, SC.

The $1.8 million project will create 36 new jobs and join other Specified Fittings production facilities in both Bellingham, WA, and Stevensville, MT. The company was founded in 1997 and is now the largest pure pipe fittings fabricator in the nation.

The Hampton County operation will share an existing building with NUPI Americas and is expected to be operational by June 2018. Specified Fittings has a nationwide network of warehouse facilities serving both domestic and international markets and cited the proximity of the Port of Charleston as one factor in its decision to choose this location for its first production site on the East Coast.
