DAK Americas relied on Parker Poe Consulting to assist in negotiating the incentives and securing formal approvals for a $50 million expansion of the company’s PET plant in Calhoun County.
PET stands for polyethylene terephthalate, considered the most recyclable of all plastics and widely used for carbonated beverages and bottled water. The 2,300-acre site on the Congaree River, near Columbia, has been in operation since 1967. DAK Americas is committing to the site’s future by increasing manufacturing capacity to better serve growing demand for its products.
DAK Americas, a Charlotte-based subsidiary of Alfa S.A.B. de C.V. of Monterrey, Mexico, is a longtime client of Parker Poe Consulting and we’re proud to help them continue to achieve success.
