COLUMBIA, S.C. — Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP and Parker Poe Consulting are assisting Nupi Industrie Italiane S.p.A. establish manufacturing, warehousing and distribution operations in Hampton County, South Carolina.
The Italian firm is investing $4.9 million in purchasing and outfitting an existing 50,000-square-foot spec building at 3214 Commerce Parkway in Early Branch, S.C., an investment expected to create 37 new jobs over the next five years.
Nupi Americas, the company’s Texas-based subsidiary, will use the site to store and ship its NIRON line of polypropylene pipe and fitting systems for plumbing and air conditioning installations, as well as to manufacture other new products. The facility is expected to be fully operational by the second quarter of 2016.
