Columbia, SC – Parker Poe Consulting LLC is pleased to announce Nelson Lindsay is joining the firm’s site selection and economic development services division. Nelson brings nearly three decades of expertise in economic development, including most recently as CEO of the Central SC Alliance (CSCA).
Nelson oversaw the execution of CSCA’s efforts to recruit jobs and increase investments in Columbia and its eight surrounding counties. Prior to that, he was the director of global business development for the South Carolina Department of Commerce. His role included supervising all project management activity, new industry recruitment, and aiding existing industry with growth opportunities. He has also previously served as the economic development director for Richland and Kershaw counties.

Nelson will join Parker Poe Consulting as a principal on September 5. In the interim, he is remaining at CSCA to assist with its CEO transition.
